Trinity College

Originally established by Elizabeth I in 1592, Trinity College was seen as part of the consolidation of the rule of the Tudor monarchy in Ireland, and a symbol of Protestant ascendancy. Aside from being the top-ranked university in Ireland, it is also home to a wealth of historical relics, including the Book of Kells and the Book of Durrow, and houses several impressive literary collections in the Long Room library.

Trinity’s alumni include such notables as Jonathan Swift, Bram Stoker, Oscar Wilde, and Samuel Beckett. It’s reputation attracts top scholars from all fields to attend at teach, and thus it houses a wide range of experts on many fields.

It is also home to a secret coven of necromancers and diabolists who use the university’s vast libraries in their researches into forbidden arts. Led by Prof. Aidan Blackwood, this group seeks to further their own personal power, and is not shy about the methods they use to do so. Their one cardinal law is secrecy.
